Now nearly of an age to collect it's pension, Chard Camera Club exists to foster enjoyment, appreciation and learning the art and techniques of photography.
Affiliated to the WCPF, we welcome new members of all abilities.  We offer a mixture of tuition and competition and our work is regularly exhibited in Chard Library, with permanent exhibitions in The Guildhall and Tawstock New Surgery.

Next Meeting

04 February -

Critique evening with Penny Piddock

Members have the chance to have

their images critiqued by Penny in an

informal setting and as a way of

gaining pointers for future work.

Especially useful for those

considering any panels for RPS etc

18 February -

Digital Triptych Competition :

members let their creativity loose,

submitting a panel of three images on

a subject of their own choosing.

In keeping with the duty of care we

owe our members and with the

current world-wide problem in mind,

Chard Camera Club Committee has

taken the decision to suspend any

Club activity until further notice.  We

envisage this will be until the end of

June at least, so please keep an eye

on your e-mail and the website.  We

hope to 'shunt' the year into July and

August, doing away with the

traditional summer recess, in order to

still provide a full ten-month

programme.  Members will have

received a full explanation in an

e-mail.  Many thanks for your

Details for sizing, mounting, competition entry labels and other tidbits can be found, as always, on our 'Download' page .......

Any queries re dates for the year's other events etc should be directed towards the Club Programme page.
